Meet KC

Abandoned at nine months old and raised by his 91-year-old great-great-grandmother, KC Capers learned that perseverance is a daily choice. That lesson fueled a 32+ year leadership journey across the U.S. Marine Corps, law enforcement, and corporate sectors, including two combat tours in Iraq as a Marine Corps Gunnery Sergeant and executive service as a Police Chief and Operations Commander.

Now Senior Manager of Training and Culture at Riceland Foods, where he has served for two years, KC shares how adversity, service, and intentional leadership create real transformation—proving leadership isn’t about titles, but lives changed.
