Letter from the Editor: Spring
As we put the 2023 crop behind us and look forward to the 2024 crop, low milling yields were a major topic of conversation. We are hopeful the 2024 rice crop will have higher milling and quality.

We recently wrapped up all our District Membership meetings, which were all held in February. The eight meetings across the districts were well attended, with a high emphasis placed on sharing information that pertained to each district.
I had a chance to visit with several of our members at these meetings and received positive feedback regarding the updated meeting agenda.
We are excited to implement the updated structure of the District Councils and are thrilled to see members looking for new ways to be involved in their cooperative.
Have a safe planting season, and let’s hope Mother Nature cooperates with you!
