2027 approved varieties
Riceland is leading efforts to improve U.S. long grain rice quality by establishing higher standards for approved varieties. For the 2027 crop year, approved varieties were selected based on their ability to meet quality expectations, while also considering herbicide options, maturity, seed company participation, and breeder support.
The 2027 Approved Varieties list eligible for sign-up in 2027 provides Riceland members with a strong portfolio of varieties suited to the growing conditions across our service area.
Below are lists of varieties eligible for sign-up (June 2027) in the FY27 marketing year, beginning August 1, 2027 – July 31, 2028. Riceland does not guarantee the performance or merchantability of these varieties, and we understand members must evaluate what works best agronomically on your farms.
