James Odom has been with Riceland for nine years, starting out in McGee and eventually becoming a grain drier manager in Dumas, Arkansas.
For the past nine years, James Odom has been an essential part of the Riceland team, ensuring that our Dumas, Arkansas grain drier delivers the highest-quality product.
James began his career with Riceland at our McGehee location before taking on his current role as Grain Drier Manager in Dumas. Originally from Mississippi, he moved to Arkansas to be with his wife—and it was through one of her co-workers that he first heard about Riceland. Since joining the company, he hasn’t looked back.
James takes great pride in the work he and his team do to help farmers feed the world sustainably while maintaining Riceland’s commitment to quality. “We take care of our farmers,” James says. “They are our number one.” He adds, “We try to give Riceland in Stuttgart a good product so they can mill it and get it out to the consumers.”
