Riceland Foods, a farmer-owned leading agricultural cooperative in the U.S. and the largest miller and marketer of rice and one of the Mid-South’s major soybean processers, today announced a leadership reorganization under which the Board of Directors has appointed Kevin McGilton Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately.

Riceland Foods reported $1.3 billion in revenue to its members, staff, and guests attending the cooperative’s Annual Membership Meeting on Thursday, November 9 at the Embassy Suites in Jonesboro, AR.

The Riceland Foods Foundation Board of Directors selected Austin Brown as the Foundation’s new Executive Director. Austin is currently serving as the Assistant Director for Sustainability and will continue in that role.

Mark Holt, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, was recently appointed to the Agricultural Technical Advisory Committee (ATAC) for Trade in Grains, Feed, Oilseeds and Planting Seeds.

A busy week for Arkansas agriculture!
